XP: 11wk apt yest (got a little nervous)

So on our way back in from a long weekend getaway for our 1st anniversary we stopped at our 11 wk dr apt. The day to hear the hb on the doppler!

So we get there and the nurse has trouble finding the hb. She tried for a few mins. Thought she heard something in the lower left but went away. I started to get very nervous. I was trying to breathe slow b/c they kept getting my heartbeat.

She called the other head nurse in and it took her some time too, but then she had me lay all the way flat on my back and they found the hb on the lower right side. She said it was hard to catch cause apparently LO was moving around too much. What a relief!! I was getting SO nervous!!!

Ugh but back to the grind....did I miss anything here??

I went to the docs yesterday and had the same thing happen. It scared the hell outa me! but he found it and it was strong and loud. Glad they found it for both of us

Yes! The nurse told me 11 wks they might not catch it, but glad they did because I would have been a nervous wreck waiting!! I would have gone and ordered a doppler for home, haha.
