Anyone taking an antidepressant and then prescribed xanex on top of it to cope with anxiety issues?

I was given Ativan in addition to antidepressant (which is similar to Xanex).

I started out taking one a day and now have weened to "as needed" situations.

I take ativan in addition to antidepressants 3x a day.
