Need couples wedding shower/BBQ help
My big brother is finally getting married! My aunt, her SILs and myself are planning a backyard BBQ type couples shower for him and his fiancee.
They both love to travel and they met on the tennis courts and play regularly. They are both already well established and are combining their houses so they really don't need much stuff showered upon them so all of those traditional type shower themes don't really work. I was thinking of running with the tennis theme but I'm having a hard time thinking of how to pull that one off.
I need some ideas and who better to ask than all of you?

Are they drinkers? If so it's fun to do a "stock the bar" shower, everyone brings a bottle of something or some fun glasses/cocktail accessories.
Otherwise maybe you could do "newlywed activites" (ok, that sounds bad!) where people give like, tickets to an event, certificates for outings like tennis, golf, kayaking, whatever, cause they sound like they like to get out and about.

Hmm for menu if you do a BBQ type you could have the usual staples: hamburgers, hot dogs, salads or maybe even kabobs.
I think if you go off of the tennis theme, you could decor or have certain things just scattered around to reflect that: a signage for 'perfect match' and their pic or personalized tennis balls for favors?
