What to stuff Pull-string Pinata with?

This is my first experience with one of these - we got one for her 3rd bday party this weekend..  What do you stuff these things with & where do I get the stuff? I don't want to use candy - I know a lot of her friends don't eat it....

    I would go to a party supply store and search their dollar bins and party favor supplies.  Maybe plastic necklaces and jewelry, bubbles, crazy straws, mini playdoh packs, cute hair ties?

    call me lame, but i didn't want to put candy in it for my 2 year old's party, so i did Organic Lollypops, packages of animal crackers,  and boxes of Raisins!!

    Just did one last week for DS birthday--I got stuff from a party supply store including mini slinkys, mini yoyos, necklaces, rubber balls, bracelets, stickers, and confetti.  It worked really well.
