I haven't been on the Central PA Nesties board much since my DS was born, but it dawned on me today that there was a Baby board!

Hope everyone is doing well and had a very happy Mother's Day yesterday!

Also - personal update - we are trying to move back to PA this year, ASAP. We miss our families so much, and though we love TX, it's especially hard now with the little one... we want his Grandparents to get to see him more often! DH is interviewing tomorrow for a job back in PA... so excited/anxious!

    Welcome Back (says the one who lives in AZ)!  I completely understand what you mean about living so far away from family with a little one.  DH lost his job a few months ago, so we're really hoping that this will be an opportunity for us to move back to the PA/MDish area.  DH has two interviews later this month.  In what area are you looking to move back to?  Good luck to your DH!

    Thanks! How have you been??

    DH is going to go to law school next fall, and he's thinking of either Dickinson (Carlisle or State College), Widener (Harrisburg) or Duquesne (Pittsburgh). 

    His interview tomorrow is for a transfer position with his current company, and it's in Pittsburgh. I'd rather end up close to State College, but we will obviously have to make a few sacrifices for the next few years. If he gets this job, we will move back, he'll work for a year, then quit when school begins.

    I'm doing great, thanks for asking.  Absolutely loving toddlerhood with my DS, and very much looking forward to finishing up this semester of work and having the summer to spend with him full time.  

    Wow!  The job my DH is interviewing for is in Pittsburgh near the Mt. Lebanon area.  If we both end up moving there, we'll have to meet!

    HI!!! All of your reason are exactly the reasons we moved back from CO and we're a million times over so happy that we have. I am LOVING watching as my kids grow in their relationships with their grandparents so much and I know they wouldn't have that if we hadn't moved!

     So glad to hear that you guys are doing well and it's great to "see" you again:) Good luck with all of the job and school searching!

    Hey there!  William is SUCH a cutie!  As for the distance, we're about an hour and 45 mins from my family right now, and that's been tough with this pregnancy and them getting to be involved in things - I can't IMAGINE having LO and living as far away as you all do currently (but, then, prior to this, the greatest distance we've had from our families is 1 hour!)... completely understandable that you want to try to get back home.  Fingers crossed for your H's interview and that things work out soon for you to get back home!

    DH is in the middle of his interview right now... ahh!
