1st Trimester

Anyone else NOT sick? (please don't hate me!) ;)

Should I be concerned that I have had no ms whatsoever?  My appetite hasn't been all that it should be but I don't seem to be experiencing the same level of nausea that others are having.  Last pregnancy ended in mc at 8 weeks and I wasn't sick then either.  Linked?

I'm just starting to experience what I think is m/s. For the last 4 nights I get nauseous at midnight until I go to sleep.

I know it's flameable but I've also been concerned that no m/s was not a good sign. I know the women experiencing bad m/s are probably rolling their eyes at this.

  • MEEEEE! I am feeling so normal, it's scary!!!! I am ALWAYS hungry and the only time that I feel sick is when I haven't had anything to eat. I wake up at 4 a.m. to eat!!

I asked my mom about it and she said that she was never sick!

I m/c @ 4.5 weeks last year. Keep me posted!

  • I never got sick with my first and I'm not sick now but it's still early.
  • I am almost 11 weeks and have only thrown up twice. Both times were at night after taking my PNV.

Aside from a seriously stuffed up nose and some cramps, I have felt great!

  • I hear it typically starts around 7 weeks or so.

  • I haven't felt anything out of the ordinary.  Maybe a little tired, but other than that, all's well.  It's stressful, but  I just tell myself about 1/4 of pregnancies are m/s free.

  • ....i'm not sick and my sister is preg as well and she has not had any MS niether.... and I have a gf who had a baby last year and she never got MS....

... my guess is that our bodies react differently to pregancy.

  • I've had a couple of rough-ish days where I felt nauseous but I've only thrown up once. The rest of the time I've just been really hungry. I think m/s=healthy pregnancy is a wives tale. My doctor said some women react stronger to the hormones than others so no two pregnancies are alike. Just listen to what your body is telling you and ask your doctor if you're super-concerned.

  • I was like this with my first.  Had a little nausea but was totally able to keep it under control with gingerale and crackers.  But this time... oh holy hell.  This kid is already giving me a run for my money!

  • I am 11 weeks tomorrow and have never been sick.  I've had some bouts of feeling "not quite right" but nothing too bad.  I was worried too, but things are moving along wonderfully for me.

Try not to worry and enjoy it!

  • The only symptom I had until 7 weeks was sore boobs and exhaustion.

At 7 weeks I started getting nauseous.

At 8 weeks I began to vomit.

Ugh, but at least I feel pregnant now. Tongue Tied

  • don't worry! I only had ms ONE DAY with my first. I am only 5 weeks w/my second and nothing yet.....hoping I'm lucky the 2nd time around too!

  • No MS here either. Didn't have it with DS and that pregnancy was great, so I'm just considering myself one of the lucky ones.
  • I'm not yet but then again I have no clue how far along I am yet. With DS #1 I got ms right around 8 weeks til 12 weeks

  • I just got m/s this morning.  I had a late on set of it with my last baby as well.  I know it is easy to play mind games when you don't have certain symptoms.  However, try not to look too deep into it.  GL mama - Keep the faith.

  • It could be that you're not far enough along yet, but cross your fingers you'll never get it.  I didn't get it with DS#1 until 8 weeks.  You still have a week or two to enjoy.  I think I read that it normally starts around 8 weeks, so you're a bit early for it.

  • I am the same way no m/s, no  just sore boobs since day one and I can still eat.  I'm glad actually and I did ask my mom and she said she was the same way when she was preg.  I saw the baby last wk on u/s so I am at peace with not feeling sick.  I am begining to feel tired last Thursday I had no enery at all.
  • I haven't yet gotten sick either nor did my mom or my sister.  Hopefully things will stay that way.  Smile

  • No sickness here at 10 weeks. Just sore, veiny boobs and urgent hunger. My mom never had m/s either.

  • Not everyone gets to experience m/s. I haven't had any as of yet and I've got twins on board. No nausea, no vomiting. Consider yourself lucky.
