Tell me about heart rates

I had my first ultrasound today and am 6w, 3d.  We were so relieved to see that little flicker of a heartbeat!  Baby is measuring smaller than I thought based on my last period, but I was using an ovulation predictor kit and based on the date I ovulated, things match up perfectly.  I don't think that's a sign for alarm, right?

 My real question is maybe something I should already know, but being new to this, I don't.  Baby's heart rate was 117.  Tell me about this.  Normal for 6weeks?  Too low?  The tech said it's fine, but I'd rather hear it from you ladies also.

    It sounds perfectly normal. Had an ultrasound at 6w1d, and heartrate was 111bpm. At 10w3d, it was 178 bpm. Now at 12w1d, it is at 165 bpm.

    It sounds like it is fine.  I have read that between 120 - 180bpm is what they like but keep in mind that is just an average and that is a pretty big spread between numbers too.

    Sounds normal to me. ?I had my u/s at 6w0d (we thought we were around 7.5 weeks...oops!) ?Anyway, the tech said that the heart had litterally just starting beating, within the day. It was only 59 bpm, which freaked me out at first, but she told me that they start low and it can take a couple days for it to get to the 120-180 bpm mark. ?

    117 at 6 weeks sounds fine.  My Dr. told me between 120-180bpm is average.  My baby's hr was 120bpm at 6w3d.  Dr. wasn't too concerned because he said it was still early.  The next week it went up to 141bpm.
    2nd ectopic resulted in loss of tube. HSG revealed remaining tube is "severely torqued".
    IVF #1: ER 03/29/10; ET 04/01/10: transferred 2 embies; Beta #1 (9dp3dt)- 45; Beta #2 (11dp3dt)- 91= BFP
    FET#1: ET 04/18/12: transferred 4 embies; Beta #1: >2 = BFN
    IVF #2: ER 06/20/12; ET 6/25/12: transferred 2 embies; Beta #1 on 7/5/12= BFN
    8/16: hysteroscopy for polyp removal
    11/11: hysteroscopy #2 for yet another polyp removal
    FET#2: ET 12/15/12: transferred 3 embies; Beta #1 (9dp5dt): 12/24/12: 426; Beta #2 (11dp5dt): 845= BFP
    u/s 1/9= triplets!; miscarried all three on 1/10/13...

    I had an u/s at 5w5d and the hp was 100 bpm. My OB said that was good, although they like to see it above 120, so I get a repeat u/s in a week.

    Ours were

    5w 6d: 100

    6w 5d: 135

    And we have a f/u ultrasound on 5/24. He said the numbers were fine.

    We had 110 today. The dr put me at 6 weeks, 1 day. Our LO is 5mm and that heart rate is fine with that size.

    We had my 1st u/s today, baby is 6 weeks and hb was 110. The RE said they like to see it over 100.

    Perfect for 6w3d!!  Jack's was just about that.

    Congrats!!! 

    ETA: I rechecked my blog post from my first u/s.  It was on exactly 6w3d and my RE was thrilled with 115bpm.  Within a week it went up to 147.
