We leave in a week! I'm so excited/nervous about the 27-hour flight. Will you be visiting family?
27 hours? To Europe?! Holy hell!
That is precisely what is going through my mind right now. LMAO. It could very well be 27-hours of pure hell for us and everyone around us. But hopefully she's a good little traveler...she's usually pretty laid back when we are out and about, so I'm optimistically hopeful
I really can't believe it is so far! I thought it was a lot closer from Australia to Europe. It is faster to get to the east coast of the US it seems.

It is faster! Well pretty close to the same, once you take layovers into account.
The worst part is, four weeks after we get back, I'm flying 18 hours with her by myself to California. If she is horrific on the first trip, I have no idea what I'm going to do by myself! Guess that's the bad part about moving to the other side of the world

And I totally feel you about the flight. Ours is not as long, although it will be 24 hours from the time we leave the house to the time we are in Milan at my ILs'.
Yes, we are visiting families, will spend half the time in Italy and half in Albania... and the real vacation will be in Hawaii. LMAO, far from everyone :P

And we will be in Italy then as well! We'll be there for three weeks of our trip (from the 26th of May to the 11th of June). No Milan though
