I should start off by saying that I really do love my MIL. She's just very opinionated.

She was telling us that we "really only have room for two children" and shouldn't have any more than than. Lady, just because YOU had two kids doesn't mean everyone should!

DH and I have been talking lately and I'm pretty sure we've decided on 3. (Althought DH likes to say that if the 3rd one is a girl we have to sell her on the black market so that Ryan can have his own room. We have a 3 bedroom house, so 2 kids will have to share. For some reason he's convinced baby #2 will be a boy and #3 will be a girl)

I absolutely LOVED being pregnant. I can't imagine only being pregnant one more time. I grew up with 3 kids in my family. I've always wanted 3!

We plan to have 3 but if all 3 are boys we might for one more time and try for a girl. Everything kind of depends on where were at financially as the years go by. Definitely at least 3 though. I also come from a family of 3!

I've always told my husband I'd have two and he could have the rest. I grew up with 3 kids in my family, DH has 5. His aunts have 10 kids each. They're insane. I've got an IUD and he's scheduled for a vasectomy, so two it is!

We have talked about having 3. I guess it will depend on how soon I get pregnant with #2.

We would love to have 4! But we also will re-evaluate our finances with each kiddo to make sure we are able to provide for them.

Ideally 4-5, but I am giving my body a bit of a rest for a few years here, so we will reevaluate then!

DH and I had always thought that we would have 3 but just the other day we were talking and both agreed that we would be okay with just two.

Either two or three. Three if we have a girl next, but if the next baby is a boy then we'll probably stop at two.

Right now we are kind of in limbo- we might just stick with Parker, but lately I have been having the urge to be pregnant again and have another. But I am pretty sure two will be our max.

I know what it is for others to "run" your life decisions. We're overwhelmed with just Nick and don't know if and when we'll have # 2. Everyone, especially my mom and MIL, are insisting that we have another soon. Hello; you don't know our financial situation, and what if we're ok with one? No, Nick is not gonna grow-up spoiled b/c we will not let him.

This is just for now, but I think we will be having another within the next 5 yrs. We're undecided and like to live spontaneously.

I used to love the idea of a big family. I come from a family of 4 kids, but have known some families of 10 that I thought were fabulous! Now that we have 2, we may be done (neither of us expected to be done at 2!). We have a fabulous son and daughter and are perfectly content with our family right now. We wont do anything permanent to prevent getting pregnant again, but if we do decide to have more, it wont be for ?at least 2 or 3 years (when DS is in school).?

I do still love big families (like, Duggar big) but realize that ?there is NO WAY that is for me. ?

My OB told me, "You should have 3 kids. Three is the new two." Judging from the responses here, he's right! DH and I have already said we'd like 3 or 4. If I could choose, I'd have two boys and two girls. That way everyone gets a brother and a sister. I love my older brother more than anything, but I wish I had a sister too.

We "plan" on 2. At least that is what DH and I agreed on when we got married. If the next one is a girl I'm pretty sure we'll be done. If the next one is a boy, then we may "accidentally" have a third.

I'm on the fence. We'll definitely have 2, possibly 3.

We're ttc now, and I want 2 close in age but don't think I could handle 3 under 3. I work part time now and want to while my kids are still small. My plan is to go back to work FT when my 2nd starts school, so probably about 6 years from now.

If we do decide to have a 3rd further down the road, either I will have to work full-time when #3 is young (which I can't imagine), or put off going back to work full-time which isn't smart financially.

I guess we'll have to see how we feel after #2.

We want 3 or 4. I definitly want at least one boy and one girl. If we have all girls after 3 we will go for the fourth. I too really want 2 boys and 2 girls.
