purified or tap?

I've just started introducing water in a sippy and I was using Brita..anyone else use just tap or purified? Our tap doesnt have lead in it

Re: purified or tap?

  • I don't drink tap water myself, so I wouldn't give it to DD. If we are home, I use filtered. If we're away I use bottled water or nursery water.

  • We buy the 5 gallon jugs of purified water. I've had really bad kidney stones for the past several years so we had to stop using tap water all together. We just use the same water for her now.

  • There is a cancer cluster of pediatric brain tumors somewhat by my house so it is bottled water all the way for us.  I don't even trust brita.

    Bottled water.
  • We have a faucet mounted filter. Our tap water is chlorinated, and I won't drink it myself, so I sure am not giving it to my baby.

  • Tap water. It tasted fine to me. I would give her water from our refrigerated Brita pitcher, but she doesn't like it as it is too cold.

  • Our tap water tastes worse than a swimming pool, I wouldn't drink it...neither will DD.  We have a reverse osmosis system and we drink from that.
  • I love our tap water, it is very good in our town.  So I give Cedric the tap water, of course I drink a ton of it as well.
