Hi, Ladies
I am stuck between these two pumps. I have heard great things about the Medela Swing Single and my sister in law suggested Lansinoh Electric but the reviews haven't been that great. Has anyone used either one? TIA!
I have the swing and it's okay. It served it's purpose in the beginning when I was engorged and needed some relief. I am a SAHM - I would pump before we went out, as I wasn't good at NIP. When DS was 4 months I ended up renting a hospital grade double pump (Medela Lactina) due to supply issues.
Hindsight - I would have just rented the pump from the hospital from the get go....That is probably what I will do if/when #2 comes along.
I think the swing is fine for light wt duty if you are planning on staying at home, and EBF...
Good luck

Lansinoh all the way. The swing is a single and a double pump is just better, plus you can use the Lansinoh as a single if you want/need to. If you are going back to work after 6 months (I think that's what you mean) then you will WANT a double pump at work.
My swing worked great with my DS when I went back to work but I am planning on getting a double this time around to save time. but I will stick with the Medela brand

Thanks! I hope to be a SAHM for at least 6 months and BF for a year.
