snacks?

Does anyone give there 5-6 month old any snacks? like gerber snacks or anything? Some people are saying I can try table foods and Gerber snacks but im just not sure, so im seeing if any of you mommys have tried!

    I have tried the gerber puffs.  I actually break them into six pieces.  DD eats the little pieces with no problem, but has zero interest in trying to pick them up.  I don't feed any table food since I use salt and pepper while cooking.  Other than that, we just do 2 meals/day and 3 other bottles.

    Nope, we're still primarily formula feeding. We've tried rice cereal 3-4 times, but it's been a big FAIL.
