  • DS's adjusted age is one month - he is currently 9lbs, 5 oz. He takes 3 oz per feeding, 4 at night - 24 oz per day.

  • At that time about 3 1/2 oz. ?She was 9lbs 3 oz. then.
  • I was just going to ask this!  DD is taking 3 oz at a time.  She will eat every 2 hrs during the day and will go 3-4 hrs at night.  I am taking her to the pedi tomorrow for her 1 mo check up, so I am going to check with her.  I know she is gaining weight, so I think we are ok.

I can not get her to take more than 3 oz at a time though.  I tried to give her more and get her to eat every 3 hrs instead of 2, but no luck.  She is full after 3, but gets hungry again quick!

  • DS had his 1 month appt yesterday.  He is taking about 3.5 oz at each feeding.

I asked the pediatrician is there was a way to figure out how much they should be taking.  She said that a good rule of thumb is their age in months plus 3 oz (max at 8 oz).  So... 1 month + 3 oz is about 4 oz.

  • about 3 1/2 oz....and she just started going 2 1/2-3 hrs in between instead of 2 hrs.
  • DD is 6 weeks today and she has been taking 4 to 4.5 oz. for the past 2 weeks. She was 6lbs. 15oz. at birth and weighed 9lbs. 4oz. yesterday. She usually eats every 3 to 4 hours during the day and every 4 to 6 hours at night. Of course she is only getting formula now so that usually fills them up longer than breast milk does.
  • DS is 6 weeks today and usually eats 4 oz every 3 hours.  Sometimes he'll go 4 hours.  He weighed 8 lbs. 3 oz. last Wednesday
