How many weeks will/were you be at your shower?

Would you have wanted it sooner/later if you were able to decide that?

I was 25 weeks at my friend's shower, will be 32 weeks at my family shower and 35 weeks at the shower DH's family is throwing for me. I think they are all going to be at good times.

I was 32 weeks and 3 days! It was perfect... looked pregnant but wasn't uncomfortable! I was able to talk and mingle, open my gifts, participate in games and have fun!!!

I was 30 weeks and it was perfect because I had the energy to be there, wasn't enormous, and had time to sort, wash and put everything away after.

I'm having mine at 30 and 33 weeks. For me, the timing is perfect.

The big family/friends one was just about 33 weeks and the work ones will be 36 weeks. That seems a little late to me but they will be small and easy so it will be okay. I agree with what everyone else has said that you feel much better in the early 30's to get everything taken care of.

I will be 37 weeks at my last shower. I've been pretty busy every weekend since my 1st shower back in March. I'm still working so I think I'll be okay this weekend.

28 for my local shower, 31 for work and 33 for out of town. All were/are good for me!

28 1/2 weeks. We actually drove 20 hours to Kansas City for Easter, and my shower was the day before Easter. I really enjoyed myself! My feet got super swollen, but even the long drive wasn't bad at all because DH and I stopped overnight during the drives to and fro. I felt big enough to be able to show off my bump, but not so huge that I was super uncomfortable. I felt really beautiful.

I was 33 weeks. I did look preggo, and was not at all uncomfortable yet. But i was really anxious to have the babies room done before that time. So i had to delay shopping for the essentials until i saw what i got at my baby shower (I only had 1 big one with friends and family)

I wish i had asked to have it a few more weeks sooner, just so i had more time to 'nest' and prepare with the baby items i got as gifts, and more time to buy what we needed after the shower.

34 and 35 weeks. A little sooner would have been nice maybe, but this leaves me just about a month to finish organizing and buy what we didn't get, which is just about perfect I think!

31 weeks, I had to fly across the country for mine, so we had to do it early. I would have loved to have done it around 34-35 weeks so I was able to see all of our friends/family closer to EDD, but we didn't want to risk flying that late.

I'll be one day shy of 35 weeks for my first and 36 for my second. I sort of wish they were earlier because I have been waiting to see what I get to buy much more. But I'll definitely look pregnant and be ready to have the baby and use everything.

I only had a shower for DD and it was at a very comfortable 32wks. Well, you always think the week you're in is kinda 'meh' for various reasons until you get to the next one but, retrospectively speaking, 32 wks is a fab week in which to have a shower. You still have 2mos before baby comes and you are sooooooo not as huge as you will be in 8 more weeks time lol

Mine is this Saturday. It's the day I picked. My mom and mil are planning it. I'll be almost 31 weeks but am having a planned cesarian for approx 1 week prior to my due date (should know more on that at today's dr appt) so I think 8-9 weeks prior to delivery gives DH and I enough time to get whatever must haves are left to buy.

I will be 34 weeks and 35 weeks respectively. (I'm having 2). I would have preferred to have them earlier but this is what worked best for my hostesses.

I'm 32 to 33 weeks now and still haven't had my shower. I know that my family is throwing me a surprise shower, but I'm not sure on the date so I can't say when. I overheard that the invites went out last week so I'm guessing that the shower is at the end of the month, which puts me at about 34 to 36 weeks. I think I would have preferred it sooner because it would give me more time to make necessary purchases and plan.

I was 26 weeks at my local family/friends shower. Everyone says this is so early but I enjoyed it so much! I had my side of the family shower this weekend (33weeks) and it was a 4.5 drive (of course we went home friday early afternoon and didn't leave until Sunday afternoon and the shower was Sat). I was so exhausted. I enjoyed it immensely but I took a nap before it and then spent most of it sitting with my swollen feet up. I much prefer the earlier shower. Now I have to do all the final organization of her nursery and laundry and I'm in so much pain I don't know how I'll do it all. And I'm sitting at work this morning absolutely exhausted....I think the earlier the better.

I was 31 weeks at my shower. I thought it was a good amount of time. I don't feel rushed to finish up last minute things on the registry and I have plenty of time to wash clothes and reorganize the nursery
