Mother's Day Oops

Woke up this AM to find a bouquet of flowers on my kitchen table...I was very impressed--I love getting flowers. I got closer, smelled them, and knew immediately they were fake. I touched them and yes, indeed, DH bought me fake flowers! What's funny is that he didn't even know!!! OMG. So hilarious. I just had to laugh at him. He said, well, now they will last forever! I'm really not sure how he could have ever thought they were real....

I'm not complaining, though-- it is the thought that really counts. It was overall a pretty fabulous Mom's Day for me.

That is so funny! Sounds like something my DH would do.

One year on Valentine's Day he gave me dead flowers! He had bought them a few days earlier because he said he didn't want to be one of those last minute guys- well then he hid them in a spare room and didn't check on them until he went to get them for me! lol oopsy

That is hilarious he didn't know they were fake! One Valentine's Day, my DH went to get me flowers and ended up grabbing a fake rose on the cash counter because he had food poisoning and didn't want to "crap his pants waiting". Romantic eh?
