Fert report in

They took my 14 eggs and split them in half to start... One half for DH and one half for DS. Of the 7 for DH, only 6 were mature. They injected that one with DH's sperm. Today it did not fertilize normally... No PN. Of the 7 for the DS, 5 were mature. Of those 5, 3 fertilized normally. We are looking at a 3dt. I only have 3 embryos and none of them are from my husband. Feeling heartbroken.

oh roselin. I'm so so sorry. I just posted below asking when you would find out. I don't know what to say that will make this better, but sometimes when the decisions are made for you they are easier to live with (at least IMO).

I am so sorry.

Anytime you have to deal with donor issues, there is a little heartbreak. Just remember that a healthy baby is the goal, and we do what we must to reach our goal. Take time to grieve that your DH's guys didn't fertilize the eggs, and then put all your positive energy into the 3 embies that are growing.

Oh no. I know you are feeling heartbroken but I agree with what Niki said. Sometimes the decisions that are made for you are the easiest ones to get through. You made the decision to use DS, and those fertilized and you will get your baby from one of those. I am so sorry that you are sad and things did not work out the way you wanted them to, but please look at the positive side of this. HUGS.

I'm sorry to hear that none of the eggs with DH's sperm fertilized. I know that's not what you hoped would happen. On the bright side though, you have 3 embies just waiting to be transferred! You and DH will be parents soon and that's what counts. Wishing you lots of luck at your transfer.

Oh Roselin, I am so sorry. I am heartbroken with you.This is such difficult news and please feel free to cry and grieve the loss of no embryos with your DH.

You are in such a unique place of sadness over the loss and hope for the other embryos. I will be praying those grow and hope your sorrow turns to joy as one or two of those become your children!
