Hi everyone, my name is Sabrina. I am experiencing my second M/C right now. I should be 6 weeks and my beta is only 400 and I have an empty sac. Experienced some light bleeding and cramping the past two days with a trip to the ER. My first loss was in September of 2007 and I had to have a D&C then. I don't think that will be the case this time. My son is my SAL baby.

Of course you can join us! I wish you didn't have to. By the way, did your doc say your pregnancy was definitely going to fail? I mean I understand that the prognosis may not be good but is there not a possibility that you ovulated late and you're not truly to the 6 week mark yet? It just doesnt seem like you should lose all hope yet with just one low hcg count. I'm guessing you're getting them tested again to see if they're doubling?

By the way, I'm in the dallas area too. I love that there are a bunch of blue bonnets in the picture with your (adorable) son. gorgeous!

Thank you guys. I go to my doctor's office on Monday for more betas and hopefully another ultrasound. Of course, there is the slightest chance that all is well, but I've been threw this before and know better. Plus, my cramping is getting stronger even as I type this. Tomorrow is just going to be a bad bad day. Had they seen at least a fetal pool in the sac, I might hold out hope, but it was empty.

Oh I'm so sorry I just went through this a few weeks ago - went for our first u/s (at supposedly 9 weeks), and there was an empty sac and no evidence of a fetus or yolk sac. Hang in there. Feel free to send me a PM if you need to talk okay! I'm thinking of you!
