My Mother's Day FB Status

As you celebrate your Mother's Day please take a moment to think about those women who should be mothers but, due to circumstances beyond their control, are not. Whether she is in the trenches of Infertility or waiting to meet the right man, every woman deserves to be honored tomorrow.

    Your sentiment is nice, but I would deck someone who attempts to honor me on mother's day. I am not a mother- I've never been one for even a day.

    It's not woman's day, it is mother's day.

     

    I look at it this way, I have been TTC for 2 years now...I should be a mother, therefore someone deserves to think of me and people like me.

    TTC #1 since 4/2007... MFI (low motility/low Testosterone) & PCOS IVF #1 August 2010...BFP 1st sono shows TWINS!!!! Due May 23rd 2011 Ruptured @ 21 weeks (Jan 13) Delivered 26 weekers (Blake and Addison) on Valentine's Day... Keeping faith and praying, God has a plan and we just have to learn to follow.     After 7 years of marriage and 5 unsuccessful IVFs, we have been granted the gift of adopting a baby boy, born 4/21/11.
