On a mission to make DS fall in love with Sophie...

when did it happen for your LO? 

I bought Sophie about 2 months ago and so far nothing.  He'll be 4 months Wednesday.

DH thinks it is just a high priced dog toy and always teases me for falling prey to the fad and buying one.  So, now everyday he's at work I try to interest DS in her.  So far he much prefers to chew on his own hand.  Sigh...

I hope I can vindicate myself and soon!

    It took Georgia quite a while to really start loving Sophie....I was determined to get her to love Sophie too...she's a pricey chew toy!!

    DS laughs and smiles when you squeak Sophie.  That's about it with the love affair.  My dog stalks Sophie and tries to steal her.

    DD didn't start liking Sophie a ton until she was around 5 months or so.  But I took it away from her a few days ago because she choked on Sophie's leg... the entire leg was down her throat and she was having trouble breathing.

    So yeah, overpriced dog toy, and not worth it IMO.  There are other toys and teethers she loves just as much if not more.

    DS is the same age and I got it around the same time. I kinda' put the feet in his mouth for him for a little while, when he began to show an interest in chewing on stuff, and put her in his hands and now he is in love. We don't leave the house without Sophie and we just got a second so I don't have to worry about losing her. Next time he's noming on your finger (or his) try to stick a leg in his mouth!
