Nola

I came across it on Nymbler, and I have to say It's really growing on me. I've never heard it before, though, and I'm not a fan of made up names. Has anyone ever heard it before?

I have never heard it before but it looks like Nolan w/o the n on the end and sounds like a made up version of Lola. Nms

I haven't heard it used for a person. It's the abbreviation for New Orleans, Louisiana.

I know. I already mentioned this to DH. I don't think we'll actually use this name since DH wasn't very receptive to it, but I wanted to see what everyone thought.

I dont think it sounds made up. Its not way out there and is easy to pronounce, I like it.

I don't like it, and based on this description, I definitely wouldn't use it since your daughter is already Eleanor. Every site I found it on had it categorized as a "nickname".
