Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

BFing does NOT save money : )

Not when you factor in the 600 bucks to get a new laptop when your toddler spills an entire cup of water on the keyboard when you are pumping!

Just gotta laugh.  So hello from my brand new laptop!

  • Suuuuure it was your toddler.  Don't worry, I won't tell dh that you just wanted a new computer. Wink
  • Loading the player...
  • I need my toddler to do that....I need a new laptop.
  • Ha I did want a new computer.  My bank account however, would disagree

  • I agree even w/o the water spilling incident! To make BFing go as smoothly and comfortably as possible (for me) I bought a hooter hider, breast pads, lily padz a little later, nursing tanks, a nursing sleep bra, a nursing bra, the pump, milk storage bags, storage compartment thingy for milk in the freezer, bottles to pump into, and steam bags to help me cleaning the damn parts to the pump so often.

I'm not saying I spent more than I would have had I FFd but geez, all of those "extras" really add up and probably closed the gap between the options a lot more than I'd like to calculate :)

Oh, and plus I "only" BFd exclusively for 3mos and then 75% of the time from 3-8mos and then switched to formula so, really, I had both costs to endure.
