tell me your experience with CCRM

Dh and I have been talking and we are going to be looking for second opinions.  I may be jumping the gun by thinking about CCRM but with me being a teacher and having the summer off, this may be the best time to at least consider  something like this.

I have been doing some reading online, but I would love some first hand experiences.  Feel free to email me at adjungw@hotmail.com or you can leave your responses here.  I am most curious about the logistics of it and the timeline

Thanks so much

  • Here's my blog post about my phone consult.  We were definitely headed there if FET #2 didn't work.

Their website has info on the timing of things:

  • THanks Kim. I think I am going to call Monday to set up a phone consult with Dr. M. I guess it doesn't hurt to hear what they have to stay

Exactly.  There's no commitment.  It's just really informational and eye-opening.

When I saw my RE the other day about the possibility of another IVF (way) down the road, I told her what Dr. M told me on the phone and she agreed with a lot of it.  It was nice to have that for a frame of reference.

We went there last August for our 1-day work-up (after doing a phone consult) and it was really helpful in figuring out what was really going on with us (unfortunately much more dismal than we had been told at our local clinic, but we could make a lot better decisions after knowing the whole story).  We did an IVF cycle at CCRM in October which was not successful, but knowing we were at a clinic we really trusted let us move on faster to other options.  We worked with Dr. M, and I was very impressed with her.

Also, there is a Colorado board on www.ivfconnections.com (under IVF > IVF by Location > IVF in the US) that has tons of good information about CCRM.

TTC with DOR, low morphology, fertilization issues

    DE IVF#1 Aug 2010 - BFN

  • I don't have experience with CCRM, but I totally got a second opinion between IVF #1 and #2 and I was so happy I took the time to do that. Your path becomes so much clearer when all of your options are laid out in front of you.

    Big ((((HUGS))))

  • I hope a second opinion gets you some answers hon.
