Kids' Hair Cuts

I know this has been asked before, but I never paid much attention. Some of E's curls are getting long and matted and we're thinking of getting her hair cut. Any recs for in or near the loop? Thanks!

We take Luca to Cool Cuts 4 Kids, but I don't think I'll take Lila there.. I actually talked to my hairdresser about it and he said he would be willing to do it. I think girl hair is much more complex than boy hair. Maybe ask your hair person?

Sam's first haircut was at a place called Snips & Snails in West University. It used to be in a little house on Sunset, but I just googled it and it looks like they've moved to Bissonnet. I really liked it, and he got a great cut. Not sure why I didn't go back!

We went to Snip-its. there should be a "1st time" coupon somewhere for $9.95 (I think normal is $17!). It was a little pricy, but I was scared of what I would do with it! He already needs a trim, but i might give it a shot. we'll see!
