Not sure if my both of my sons names are in the top 1000 (probably not), but we named our first Johann and 2nd Seamus ("shay-mus").

If the 3rd is a girl, we are picking a name that is a blend of both grandmother's names. If it is a boy, I have no idea what the name will be.

My father and brother's name is Finn, but that is very popular now.

If it's a boy, it's Rylan (which I thought wasn't that popular, but was #195 in 2009). A girl will be Payton, where the original spelling (Peyton) was #43 in 2009.

Thought I was being creative... oh well. I still love the names!

My LO name isn't in the top 100 list, but it like 850 or something like that on the top 1000 list. Which is ok I guess. Still means her name won't be common, like mine. My name has been in the top 100 list since before I was born, it's currently 71 on the list. Sucks having 3 Andrea's in a class. lol.

Boy names we've narrowed it down to are Dashiell (Dash) and Emmett - and possibly Declan if I can get DH to come 'round.

Girl's names are Schaeffer, Regan, and I think it's on the list but Piper.

ETA - Emmett and Declan are both on the list but not in the top 100, as are Regan and Piper. Schaeffer and Dashiell, however, remain to be seen...

wow, I like a lot of these names and I'm surprised some of them aren't on the top 1000. Like Cian and Lilith....both of which I considered. Our boy name...we're having a boy, is on there. But if he was a girl his name would have been Meta which is not on the top 1000. Its ranked like 1600. Its a relatively unused shortened version of Margaret in Greece which I don't like but is DH's grandmother's name (Margaret) who recently passed away.

Emerson is 321 for girls and 437 for boys. Hudson is 150.
