I will be going back to work in about a month. I haven't started to store bm yet. Every time I pump and have some I seem to use it. How do I go about storing it up? Its hard to find the time to pump in between feedings. Any advice?
I religiously pumped once each morning after her first feeding of the day (after daylight of course). This helped me get quite a stash while I was home on 12 weeks of leave. However, I was never really away from her so I never used what I pumped except maybe twice. Once I returned to work last month I still religiously pump each night before bed as well as at work. This allows me to have plenty for daycare bottles and I still wind up freezing a good amount every week.

I didn't start freezing a stash until about 6 weeks before I went back to work. DS only fed from one side at each feeding so after he ate, I would pump from the other side. I did that a couple times per day.

I scheduled set times when I would pump. I'd do it in the morning after I nursed him and again at 9pm before bed. I started doing the night pump after he started sleeping a little longer stretches at night. Good luck!
