Trying to Get Pregnant

Mother's Day crunch time

I have no idea what to get my mom. The woman has no hobbies or interests. Her birthday was just a few weeks ago so I gave her a gift certificate to a restaurant she likes and she and my dad went out.

 Any ideas?

  • Flower pot or a hanging basket for her front porch?

  • My Mom is the same way!  My siblings and I recently got her a Pandora bracelet for her birthday and now we have something to give her on every holiday-charms!

I was gonna say this. I got my mom a gardenia bush to plant in her yard.

That's going to be my go-to if I can't think of anything else. I've given her so many plants in the past, and my sister just gave her flowers for her birthday 2 weeks ago . . .

  • Same dilemma here. I always think of plants, but then we go over there and I see how many millions she already has. I might do a brunch IOU.....it's too nutty on Sunday to try to go, but I'll take her another day, just she and I (and my sister, probably).

She always feels guilty accepting jewelry, but I like the idea of something with built-in potential for future gift buying . . . hmmm. . . does that make me lazy? LOL Stick out tongue

I think it makes us smart for thinking of the future =)

I do exactly the same thing!  My mum loves the different charms.  She actually got me one for my birthday last year so we both get the same gifts :)

I got my mom an Edible Arrangement of all choc. covered strawberries.

I had it delivered 3 days ago because my mom leaves for Europe tomorrow.

  • I sent my mom flowers, and got her a new handbag that she wanted.  For MIL we made a photobook on shutterfly, got it in the mail today, hope she likes it

I love this idea! I will either send her some or make them myself and bring them when I see her on Monday. Thanks for the idea!
