Ultimate Crib Sheet

I purchased a few before DD was born back in 2008. However, I returned them when I felt how stiff and rough they were. I love the idea of the item, but I couldn't imagine putting a newborn down on these rough sheets. But I have heard everyone rave about them. Was I too quick to judge? Do they have a different feel than regular sheets? We are expecting twins, and I'd love to have an easy way to change sheets quickly in the night if needed. However, I just couldn't stand the rough sheet going over the nice, soft crib sheets. Let me know your thoughts!

Re: Ultimate Crib Sheet

  • I dont know how they are now but they didn't even fit on DD's crib so I returned them as well...

  • I had the Ultimate Crib Sheet with DD (5 years ago) and 2 of the tabs came off of it too easily. I wasn't a fan.

If you're looking for an easy way to change sheets quickly, do this: Get a waterproof mattress pad and put it on your crib mattress, then put a crib sheet over it, then put another waterproof mattress pad on top of the crib sheet, and another crib sheet on top of that. In the middle of the night if you need to change crib sheets, all you do is take off the first crib sheet and waterproof mattress pad and voila!

  • Great idea! Thanks!
  • I heard great things and registered for one with DD was born.  I didn't like it either and didn't like how it was going to show so I never used mine either.  Never really saw the need either.  We didn't have too many occasions of having to make a night sheet change.
