I'll step in for Joyful today!

 

Today's fee for a drink is to tell me where your favorite beach bar is located.

     I dont have much to choose from, i havent been on that many sun holidays Sad i have to say our honeymoon in lanzarote, they have a cool bar beside the pool and the beach was just at their back door, we got soooo drunk in our swimwear, thought it was the best thing ever Cool!!!

    I will have a mimosa (as it is only 11:07 as I type this). 

    I know it's corny, but my favorite beach bar right now is the one in our town.  It is right on the water and you can watch the harbor and the boats go by.  I'll try to post a picture (its from the side deck, the view is not as great as facing the water directly, but you get the idea.) 

    I'm not too good with this stuff, so I'll give it a try. . .

    I'll have a margarita - still celebrating cinco de mayo!

    Favorite beach bar is in Aruba at the Bucuti hotel which is we stayed for our honeymoon.

    And MDBeachBride - can't forget Seacrets in OC of course!  Not right on the beach but close enough.  I also love Fran O'Briens in Rehoboth Beach because you can sit outside right on the boardwalk.

    Mine is the Ocean Key Resort and Spa in Key West.  You can watch the sunset and enjoy a nice refreshing beverage.

     I put the picture in tinypic.com and then it converts it to different sized files.  I just cut and pasted it into the body of the message, so it is not in my siggy.  It's a miracle that I figured it out!

    Many great choices...but this one is at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica when we took a great drive from LA to San Fran last year!

    I will take a pina colada because I feel tropical =) 

    My ultimate favorite beach bar/pool bar is at the Four Seasons in Maui.  I can't remember how close to the beach or pool the bar was, but man those drinks were great!

    I'll take a few shots of Jeg!  Yum.

    The only beach bar I have been to was in Cancun back in the early 90's.  The hotel was called Cameno Real, it is called something else now, but is still there.  They had a swim up bar.  That was cool!

    The only "beach bar" I've been to was an impromptu one.  Friends of the family had a "party boat" and we would take it out to a sand bar and set up camp for a few hours (til the tide came in).  Sweetness.

    Otherwise, redsoxbono, I'm right there with you in loving harborside pubs.  Our rehearsal dinner was at one of those on Cape Cod. 

    Hmmm... as for a drink, I'm torn between an amaretto sour and another taste of that incredible sake DH and I had at SushiSamba on our honeymoon last week...but I can't remember which one it was (DH took a pic of it though, haha) --- any of you Vegas lovers been to this amazing restaurant?

    Late to the party, but just got home from work..so I will have a Magarita please.

    Faovrite Beach bar is the Tiki Hut near the holiday inn on Hilton Head Island. OH many a drunk day and night have been spent there.

    "Onward"--CathyMD Waiting since 07/5/2011 for our forever child! Yep we are adopting!
