Ugh...Old Navy jeans

Stupid maternity jeans I ordered in my normal pre-pregnancy size in a short length.....Still too long (I am 5'3 ...not THAT short.)  Loose in the waist and tighter in the legs.  Opposite of my usual issue.  I'm so irritated.  I needed some new jeans for Saturday and I can't find anything in the right length and now I don' have time to get them hemmed. I feel like I've looked everywhere! Vent over.

  • I completely know how you feel, except I have the opposite problem.  Their jeans are never long enough for me.

Have you tried Gap or Penny's? Do you have to have jeans or can you wear a skirt or other pants?

  • try motherhood maternity. they have great deals online and their pants have been working well for me. hope this helps!

p.s.- depending on how much weight you've gained.. you might be able to wear your pre-pregnancy pants with a belly band which allows you to wear them unbuttoned and unzipped if need be. you can buy one at motherhood maternity or target! i'm still using mine at 23 weeks.

  • I should try Penney's. I didn't even think of them. Thanks!!  I need jeans since we will be outside and its gonna be a little cooler.  I have plenty of black pants and jeans that are longer to wear with heels and boots, but I needed some to wear with flats.  Looks like I will shopping again tomorrow. LOL

Thanks...I did try them already and didn't find anything that fit well.  I have always had a hard time with jeans.  I guess I may be wearing heels all summer :/

  • I HATE my ON maternity jeans. I've had them for 2 previous pg and have finally decided it's not worth it to struggle with them any more. I'm still on the hunt for some better ones. I found some that fit well at Motherhood but they were so plain it wasn't worth it (gimme some kind of design or something on the pocket). I'm afraid to try Gap because they might be like ON. I don't really have any other options, though.

Old Navy 'short' pants have a 30" inseam, Motherhood Maternity and Gap have 29" inseams for theirs, they might work better for you. If anyone could just find me a place with 28" inseams I'd be a very happy person.
  • Not to discourage you but I didn't find a good pair of maternity jeans until my eight month when I was pregnant with DS. They well usually too short or too big. Try going to different stores and don't order anything online until you know the fit of that brand.
