Have you met / do you know anyone famous?
I hung out with Kenny Chesney about 10 years ago before he was really popular 
Edit: I also hung out with James Taylor at a New Years Eve bonfire on the beach in Martha's Vineyard prob 15 years ago.

I guess my point in saying 10 years ago was that he was popular (obvi enough to be on tour) but not as popular as now... I wouldn't be able to hang out with him now LOL
I saw Tom Scarritt (A River Runs Through It)on a ferry boat in northern Washington (turns out he has a house on one of the islands).
I've also seen Vince Vaugh and Robert Duvall when they were filming Four Christmases in SF. They were staying at the hotel that my girls and I were at.
Kdodge - pretty cool about Marg Helgenberger, have you ever met her? (I've never even met some of my first cousins, which is why I ask)

Ricky Schroder is my 3rd cousin.
Kyle McLachlan went to my high school and his mom still lives in town. I was a server at her wedding. Kyle played bartender.
I hung out with Darius Rucker (then Hootie and the Blowfish) in the San Fran airport bar in college.
DH's uncle is a grammy winning violinst/composer and really well known in classical and country circles. He was a studio player on Garth Brooks big albums. He had a cameo role in the Meryl Streep movie, Music of the Heart.
The rest are country/bluegrass specific.

About ten years ago I got to email Ryan Reynolds for CosmoGirl when I was in high school. We used his answers in an interview.
I also met two of the guys from the Ghost Hunters at a comic book convention. They were very nice to me.
I've met and seen lots of famous people (living in SoCal will do that). I did an event that Suzanne Somers was speaking at, so I met her. Mel Gibson showed up to a wedding I did (he was short). There were tons of sightings at my old job, but no good gossip to report.
One of my former coworkers is Gallagher's daughter (the comedian, with the watermelon). That's all I can think of for now.
I always go to the stage door after plays I see so I have *met* a few people: Jeff Goldblum, Billy Crudup, Claire Danes (she was at the production of the Pillowman when she was dating BC), Anthony Rapp, David Hyde Pierce, Hank Azaria, Sara Ramirez (she is fuucking gorgeous in person), the bad guy from Chances Are, Patrick Wilson (he is really effing sexy in person and he talked to us for a long time!), the dad from Wonder Years. Jackie Mason (a comedian who had a show on Broadway a few years back) and my mom had like, a 15 minute conversation while we were waiting outside of Spamalot.
My sister dated Jonathan Silverman (he had a show called The Single Guy about 100 years ago) for a short while.
Greta Garbo (aka Greta Gustafson) would be my second cousin, twice removed.
Oh and I went to HS with one of the wedding planners from Whose Wedding Is It Anyway? (Ivy Robinson)

I met *NSync (any other former fans out there?) at a club in 1999. I got to dance with them and hug everyone. At the time, I swore it was the high point of my life.
I also have met Hanson, BBMak (they sang to me in my dentist's parking lot), Billie Piper, Jordan Knight and Joey MacIntyre.
Totally! I am so not cool enough to hang with majorly successful people!

My SIL is an actress/model, but I can't tell you who she is.
I know Katie Holmes' parents. They live across the street from my work and I talk to them every few months. My mom used to work with her dad.
I know a few other actors in LA through one of my friends, too.
I've met lots of musicians... John Mayer, a few of the Maroon 5 guys, Guster, Ben Folds, Bedouine Soundclash, Needtobreathe, Pat Monahan (lead singer of Train - he sang into my ear at their concert...), Gavin DeGraw... lots more.
When I waited tables in college, I waited on the Bellamy Brothers and Insane CLown Posse on?separate?occasions. ?Talk about opposite ends of the music spectrum.
I was also a tutor for the college football team while I was student. ?You can see several of my proteges making millions on Sundays during the NFL season. ?
Isn't this this guy from Weekend at Bernies? ?I had the biggest crush on him when I was like 12.?
I met Kevin Costner at the college world series one year. He was sitting in front of me. I didn't realize who he was at first, but thought it was strange that women kept walking down the stairs and taking pictures.
I met Charlton Heston back in college. He came to speak on campus and I was one of the chosen few that got to attend a private reception after the fact.
If you consider political types famous, I met quite a few while I was a legal intern for a house committee. I also worked in the spin room at one of the Bush v. Gore presidential debates.
For those readers, I went to a book discussion a few months ago and got to meet Sue Monk Kidd.

Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)
IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN
IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.
IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132. Lil is here!
TTC#2: Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.
IVF #4: BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN
IVF #5: MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN
IVF #6: (New RE): Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN
FET#1: BFN

I ran over Jerry Stiller with a grocery cart - it's a long story that involves my broken ankle and a need for Ben and Jerry's at 10 p.m. on Nantucket.
I don't 'know' anybody famous, but have met a few.
Thomas Hayden Church (think Lowell from Wings) grew up in my hometown. My uncle went to high school with him. I've met him a couple of times.
I've also met a few NFL players. I hung out with Terry Glenn, who used to play for the Cowboys in a bar one night, and went to eat afterward with him.
I've also met Garth Brooks, George Strait, Toby Keith, some other singers at their concerts.
I don't really know anyone big.
There's a guy that graduated a year before me in high school that plays MLB. He was with the Mariners but traded to the Pirates. I've known him since I was in late elementary school because my brother grew up playing AAU baseball with him.
Joe Nichols "Tequilla Makes Her Clothes Fall Off" is from the county where I live and I've met him a few times. I don't really consider that "knowing" him.
I met Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall, Jeff Foxworthy and that other drunk guy a few years ago.
There are lots of local celebs, mostly from American Idol, that are from areas close to my hometown. However, I've never met any of them.
I wish I'd met Kenny Chesney at his concert about 3 years ago, but my big sis was too chicken to go up to the stage!!
I am related to Michael Bower a.k.a. Donkey lips from Salute Your Shorts. He is my first cousin, but I've never met him. My hubby's step cousin is blues guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd, who is totally sweet and awesome! He's married to Mel Gibson's daughter, btw. She is also very nice.
Other celebs I've met...Eric Church (country singer who I got to interview when I was a t.v. news reporter, and he was sooo drunk!) Robin Roberts and Chris Cuomo from GMA, First Lady of Texas Anita Perry (just added her to my famous list today! She is beautiful!)
