Babies premiere 5/4 Rant - I was sent home??

Must be the pregnancy hormones but this topic still makes me fume.

The bump.com event was extremely unorganized...

After I RSVP'd, I got a confirmation that I was on the "list" - 1 of the chosen 165. But apparently, that confirmation didn't mean anything b/c when I showed up at the GIVEN TIME they told me that too many people had shown up and they were "at maximum capacity". So the confirmation meant nothing. Here's a novel idea for the future, the CONFIRMATION IS YOUR TICKET.

Way to send pregnant women trekking over to the UWS just to send them home. Real smart. I'll be sure to tell all my prego friends what happened to me and the countless other disappointed women who were sent home.

they should have explained in the post that it would be a raffle and you'd hear by x if you had a ticket... and then let the person who you confirmed as going in the darn door. that is a pita to truck it there just for them to close the door on ya. boo, nest/bump

Yep, same thing happened to me. I was happy to get the goody bag, but not happy to spend extra time on rush hour subways. They shouldn't have sent out so many confirmation emails and then not let us in. I got there at 6:15 which I thought would be plenty of time since the movie wasn't actually starting until 7:30. I guess not.
