What are you getting your mom for Mothers Day?

I am STUMPED! I have NO IDEA what to get my mom for mothers day! I don't wanna do a picture cause that's what we've done the last few times.

I'm getting my mom a gift card to a photo printing place (like Shutterfly or Snapfish) so she can print off all the pics she wants of DD and get exactly the ones she wants for a album.

I did a card and wrote a heartfelt note in it about how now that I have a child I can appreciate her so much more, and that I'm so fortunate to have such a wonderful role model for a mom and a woman. I also reminded her of how much fun we had seeing her the other weekend (C and I went to surprise her for her birthday and spent the whole weekend with her) and reminded her of our next trip to see her. More of an emotional one this year. Smile

I also got her a little mug that says something like "mothers hold a childs hand for a few years, but hold their hearts forever". Something like that.

This....well we get her hanging baskets for her porch. This year I made a "Stepping Stone" (kit from amazon) with DD's feet prints and her name on it for my moms garden.

We had flowers sent to both my mom & MIL at work. Just don't go through ProFlowers (see post below). LOL!

Plus me, DH, DS, my mom & dad are all spending Sat afternoon at a local winery with live music. Then going out for dinner. Spending all day Sunday with MIL and her family - got DH's cousins college graduation party at 2pm.

AND...I almost forgot. I bought those garden stepping stones that you make yourself, and we're going to put DS's footprint in them with "Christian 2010". I'm going to make one every year for them.

I got a canvas that I will be posting pictures, spray painting and gluing various items to make it look like art. It should be fun to make.

for Christmas she got a tea bag that flowers when put into water. She has been looking since then for a glass teapot to showcase it in. Well, I finally found one through Avon! And I am doing the picture thing for her from DS.

Does she like pedis/manis? Maybe a gift card to a spa or a gift card to her favorite store?

I am doing a photo album of DS. She doesn't get to see him often because she lives a little far, so I am giving her his best pictures from his birth to now. We are seeing her a 2 weeks after mother's day so we plan on taking her to breakfast and giving it to her then.
