OMG, what a tall newborn!

My friend just had her second child yesterday, and he is 22.5 inches long!  He's only 8 lbs 5 oz, so he's not huge weight wise though.  I'm pretty sure that DS was around that height at 3 months old.

    My aunt was 24" at birthSurprise.  #2 was 22" while #1 was only 19 and like yours not 22 until close to 3 months.

    that is tall. my nephew was 22 inches long and almost 10 lbs. he was huge! looked like a 3 month old baby!

    My 1st son was 21 1/2 inches long. I thought that was a normal length. :)

    Now if you you show me a newborn that is 25 inches like I might gasp! lol

    They're going to have to bypass all those newborn clothes!  :)  

    DS was 22.5 inches and 9 lbs 5 oz.

    That is long.  DD was 21.5, which I thought was pretty long!

    That's how long I was at birth.  My brother was 23.5" and over 10 lbs.  Which is crazy because, with both of us, she gained less that 20 pounds during pregnancy.

    We only ended up slightly taller than average, so I don't know why we were so huge at birth.  Just to punish my poor mom, I guess. :)

    My cousin was almost 10lbs and 23 inches..  now he is 5'8 (on a good day) and skinny skinny skinny!

    Ben was 8.12 and 22.5 inches.  He looked like a toddler in the delivery room!

    DS was almost 9 lbs and was 22 inches..  and I still thought he looked tiny!

    I have to post on this one!  DD #1 was 8lbs, 15 oz and 23.75 inches at birth.  She was TALL!  She is in the normal range now however.
