I'm in a grumpy mood. I was thinking that when I hear about all the good things going on things don't seem so bad. So share something happy with everyone. ![]()
Me: We have four weddings between October and June of next year for family members. Seeing family and celebrating together is always the best.

Re: Share something happy
Mother's Day is Sunday!
My babies are growing by the minute, and I couldn't be happier. This yr, Dh and I celebrate 5 yrs of marriage, and 10 yrs of being together... and will be doubling our family by Thanksgiving!

I have three somethings. I'm feeling very happy today.
1. A painter is here today to paint the stairway and upstairs hallway. Woohoo! We've lived here a year and haven't figured out how to paint the high ceilings in the stairway safely. I'm so thrilled to have that part of the house looking actually put together.
2. I have plans with a friend tonight and I'm so excited!
3. My mom is visiting next weekend!
I HATE my job (well more accurately, my boss) Wait, that's not the happy part, the happy part two fold:
1. I am taking a 4 day weekend starting tomorrow and
2. I did a telephone interview for a new job yesterday and they want me to come in for a face to face interview tomorrow!
Oh, good luck! Let us know how it goes. Hope you get it.

I went to my mother's day program this morning that my 3 yr old put on.. It was soo cute and I started to tear up. They made us little flower pins to wear with their pictures on it and a tie for the dads. They made us cards and on the back of them, they asked questions about us and the teachers wrote what the kids answers were..
My son said I was 6ft tall and 100 lbs.. Man I love that kid.. LOL He also said I wear alot of dresses like girls (um I think I am a girl) watch car fixing shows (honey I don't enjoy those your daddy just wont change them) and I have black eyes..
It was a great morning..
Despite our pretty frightening weekend, I am loving all the extra time I'm spending with my family. It's great to have dinner together every night and I'm loving having both of the dogs together all the time at our house
Good luck!
Liz, your son is hilarious!
I have a lot to be happy about right now, but here are a few:
1-Summer vacation is less than 25 days away!
2-I have 5 baby showers to attend this year so far - more friends are having more babies!
3-We have befriended someone who was working on our house and he has helped us in so many ways free of charge. I never thought I'd meet someone so selfless like that, especially in the area of home improvements.
I am feeling the baby move like crazy AND better yet Sophie and DH have both been able to feel her, too! Its crazy cool. Sophie has started lifting my shirt and kissing my belly and saying hi to the baby all on her own, without any prompting.
All of that makes me happy.
good luck Bettina!
tomorrow I have my first Mother's Day lunch at Aaron's school and I am so excited!!
I am also looking forward to Mother's day and seeing all of our family
