Degenerative Myelopathy

Our older German Shepherd had DM.  She is only 9 years old.  We found out she had it 1 1/2 years ago.  From what I have read this is a pretty long time to live with it.  Well things are starting to take a turn for the worse.  Has anyone ever had a dog with this?  How did you handle the process?

    I don't know anything about DM but I wanted to say I'm sorry that you pup is not feeling well.
