Is there any need to bring a bag in when you check in prior to the c-section? Other than the cameras, I can't think of what else I might need prior to moving to my post-partum room (at which time DH can go get the bag from the car). I am sure I am overlooking some obvious things... what are they?

Re: If you have a scheduled c-section...
Thanks for posting this. I was just planning on bringing everything in when we showed up for the c/s. It makes sense to just bring the "essentials" and leave the bags in the car. With DS#1, I labored for almost 40 hours prior to my emergency c/s, so I felt like I had moved into the hospital by that point.
The mittens are a good idea. DS#1 had scratches on his face when he was born. It was crazy. Those little nails are like razor blades
