Pedi Recs...

So before I see Dr. K again I really want to have J's pedi picked out. My old pedi is still top choice but I'm willing to look in to other alternatives. Preferably in the Kendall area near Baptist.

Dr. K's office recommended Gladys Vazquez.

Any other recommendations?

We go to Gables Pediatrics. Their office is in Merrick Park. Nico's dr is Salinero but I have met almost all the others either in the hospital or when I have gone without an appointment and I think they are all great.

When I was living down south, I took Alexis to Pediatric Professional Assoc. their office is on 87 Ave, just north of Sunset. Her pedi was Dr Karen Kuhn, but I saw a bunch of the others in the practice also. I really liked her a lot, I had Alexis on a delayed vacc schedule and she worked with me.

I have no exprience w/ him, but SIL adores her children's pedi. He's off of Sunset near 92 I think. His name is Enrique Canton. I believe he has another office in Pembroke.

We go to Dr. Ginsburg (love him), Dr. K is really fond of him too. Well, they're fond of each other (apparently they're friends because they both say that the other is "a little crazy") lol.

I love my pedi office! Not too far from home or work for me, in Palmetto Bay by The Falls. Kings Bay Pediatrics. I like all the doctors but really recommend Carolina Escobio, who is our primary there.

I second Dr. Kuhn. She was my pedi growing up and she still sees my brothers. She is the sweetest, most thorough doctor. She would call to check up on us at home when we were sick and I always felt very comfortable with her.

Okay so now I am curious as to why you prefer Kendall/Baptist when you live so far south? Our first was in that area but the trek there and back was such a PITA - plus, I did not like her. LOL. At all.

Dr. Siblesz-Ruiz, on Kendall Drive and 114th. We went to high school together, she's always been brilliant. She got straight As in everything. She's great with the kids too, my DD loves her.

We go to Dr. Claudia Herrera at South Florida Pediatric Partners on 87th, just north of Kendall (across from Norman Brothers). I've known her for a couple of years from Miami children's hospital...before I was even pregnant with DD. They have after-office hours until 9pm, and hours on weekends/holidays too!
