It was really good! I got a new assistant while I was out and he's a little iffy, but all in all it was good! :) I know I'm an anomaly, but I was totally fine dropping Simon off with grandma. He had a great time!

What is Leap Year? DH and I do nothing but watch movies so I am always on the lookout for ones we haven't seen.

It's the one where the girl decides to propose to her bf in Ireland on Leap Year day. Hilarity and romance ensues.

Sounds good. I will have to convince DH to watch it with me.

Nope I am the same way. I drop Matthew at my parents house and go off to do my own thing. Keeps me semi sane. I meant were you excited once you got there or where you exhausted by the end of the day? I used to work 12 hour shifts like nothing, five months ago. Now I doubt I could do a 6 hour shift of listening to clients problems. Just thinking about drains my energy

Funny you ask, actually. Since it's the week before mother's day, I'm working 10-12 hour shifts, vs my normal 9. It really isn't that bad, the worst part is breaking in my new shoes. Ouchies. It helps that I'm really busy though.

  • I'm here!

About to shower and then find something to eat.

Is your store really busy these days? With Mother's Day right around the corner?

Your wearing real shoes?? the closed toe kind? I haven't worn anything other than flip flops in months. I don't even think my foot would fit in a real shoe anymore

Yep. Pretty much the last busy time befor Christmas! They push Father's Day, but it's not really the same. We usually sell a ton of watches that week but that's it. I'm so happy I got to go back for a busy time. :)

  • That's great!

I am so ready to go back to work. I am getting horrible cabin fever being at home all day long. And my job is fast pace so it will keep me busy.

My boss would DIE, hahaha. I have to wear 'dress shoes' (read: heels). My feet are too big for all my old favs, so now I'm breaking in new ones. I wish I could wear flippies!

On an unrelated note, I have a silly and probably irritating question: How do you you pronounce your lovely lady's name?

Not irritating at all.  At least you're asking and not taking pronounciation liberties like most people.

    It's pronounced Hair-Ah.

I recently saw a preview for "Leap Year". I didn't realize it was out on video yet.  (Does anyone still say that, btw? LOL)  I wanted to see that.

Yeah it came out yesterday.  But I live in the mountains in the middle of no where, so our video store only got it today.  ;oP

I haven't worn heels since December 5, 2009 (my BFF's wedding). I need to retrain myself into wearing 4 inch heels. I don't have any smaller heels. I think my toes will freak out in a real shoe

I'm here! I'm just hanging out, anticipating Severin waking up and wanting the boob, so I'm not gonna bother going to bed until he's fed. :) I'm a little jealous of you ladies returning to work! I am so glad to be a SAHM, but it does get a little boring. I can't wait till Severin is old enough to really interact with!
