UPDATE to help! no weight gain at 4 week check up :(

Great news, DS weighed 8 lbs 4.5 oz at his re-check on his weight today!!

This is up from the 7 lbs 15.5 on Monday.

 Thanks for the advice and help!

I am now pumping an hour before he feeds, feeding him the pumped bottle, usually 2-2.5 oz, then putting him on the breast, it is working!

I think it is helping my supply as I am consistently getting 2.5-3.0 ounces per pumping.  This is important due to my AMA of 45!

I am essentially pumping every two hours and he is eating every 3.

The Pediatrician was amazed and I am glad I stuck it out without adding the formula at this point.

My LC was beyond thrilled and now wants me to cut back on the bottle feeding to 1 oz and then put him to breast, we will weigh him again on Friday.

    That's great!  The one thing I would suggest, though, in addition to cutting back on how much you are giving him in the bottle, as your LC suggested, is to put him to the breast first, then give him a bottle as needed.

    Good work mom! Way to stick with it and be willing to pump to up your supply. You are awesome. So glad it's working out for you!
