Do ya'll ever get in your comments section some Japanese/Chinese looking writing that is clicky? I never click on it because I figure it's some kind of website I don't want to go to, so I just delete it. But is there a way to keep them from commenting at all? All I have set up is for someone to write the code in the picture thing to comment but anyone can do that...is there something better?

Make sure in your settings that your blog isn't indexed/searchable on Google. You don't have to make it private, but that should help.

Also make sure you have the captcha turned on for commenters and that they can't be anonymous.

Is the Captcha that thing were it's letters and numbers they have to put in to submit their comment? If it is I think I have that turned on...or at least I am assuming I do...off to check on these things and I'll make sure I am not indexed/searchable Lol can you tell I am pretty illiterate at this kind of stuff? Thanks Sarah!

Yes! I had a "bot" the other day that left like 15 messages on old blog posts of mine. As soon as they began to flood, I changed my settings to add comment moderation (which I've kept on). I too have the CAPTCHA feature so I'm not sure how the "bot" bypassed it but it was the weird Chinese character symbols like you were saying mixed in with random single English words too.

If you add the "Comment Moderation" then you have to approve each comment before it's posted. I should have had that on there before!
