I'm a little nervous b/c of the spotting that I continued to have after the emergency visit last month. However, it completely stopped about a week ago, so that and Dr. Kellogg's reassurances have kept me calm for the last couple of weeks. But, you know I won't feel 100% until I hear that little h/b. IDK if I'll get an u/s tomorrow since I have the anatomy scan scheduled for later this month. But, if Dr. Kellogg decides to do one tomorrow then we may find out the sex!

I'll def talk to my OB and see what he says. I just don't want to receive a huge insurance bill since I've already had 3 u/s so far.
GL at your appt tomorrow!
Not sure what insurance you have, or how it works, but mine covers it all for a set copay ($120 for entire pg).

Mine is a little complicated. It only covers one ultrasound - the rest have to be medically necessary. The plan has a copay and covers 80% of everything until we meet a certain deductible for it to cover 100%. However, DH's company gave us a check card with the amount of the deductible so it doesn't come out of our pocket. But, for procedures to count towards the deductible, they have to be medically necessary or diagnostic as well. Something like that. I've called three times to confirm.
Thanks, girls! I will let you know how it goes tomorrow.
Praying that everything is perfect and that the appt goes smoothly
GL love!
Of course! Although, they just called to confirm and told me that I probably won't have another u/s until the 20 week appointment. We'll see what the doc says, though.
Wah. Oh well, hopefully you'll get lucky tomorrow.

aww! Good Luck tomorrow!!! I'm sure everything is just fine!! I hope he will do the U/S to put your mind at ease.
Seriously, I just dont understand what the big deal is if they have a machine in the office. Am I missing something with U/S? I mean, is it detrimental to the baby if you use it too much? How much could those blue jelly goop be?? It's not like you're asking to have surgery. They should just treat it like a copy machine in any office. LOL

I actually asked... no harm in baby at all! You are right PJ, they should be done at every visit. LOL They prob don't b/c they can't bill it (and it can "cost" them $200 an u/s) and that would make the appt longer, and less patients to see... maybe?

Thanks, ladies. The appt is at 5, so I'm just here at work... waititng.
I agree with PJ. I don't see what the big deal is and why insurance is so stingy with u/s.
