Newbie needs a Buddy :)

Hi! I'm new. And I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm going to figure it out!

I'm 26 and married my husband on New Year's Eve. We just moved to Scottsdale, AZ from Milwaukee, WI and I don't know anyone! I own a Mary Kay business and my husband is in finance. We moved here mostly for the weather

We just bought a house and it's exhausting...add to that, I realized I was pregnant in the same week we closed on the house! Exciting! And terrifying. So far, my projected due date is Christmas...I thought I was further along than I am due to a previously missed period (I think I lost one reeeeeally early on in March), after it messed everything up (internally), I guess I ovulated a couple weeks later than we thought. So, after much confusion with the ultrasound, my OB came up with Christmas. I should know more tomorrow after my blood work comes in. Anyway, does anyone want to be my buddy? Would love to have a friend to share with!

just stopping in to say that i moved from AZ and i MISS it like crazy! we moved to CO about two years ago. i lived all over the phoenix area: fountain hills, scottsdale, tempe, glendale. i love it there so much and i'm jealous you get to live there. :-) i am from OH originally and loved the warm weather and no crazy snow. congrats on your BFP!!

I'm interested! I missed all the labor buddy stuff earlier--there's a lot of mamas on here that are more on the East coast, so they post much earlier than I do b/c I'm still at work. We will be in the same time zone for half the year and the other half you will only be an hour ahead

I live in Oregon. I've been married for a little over 9 months. I'm a grocery store manager and my DH is a pharmacist for the same company (different store though because I would technically be his boss if we worked at the same store--I so love saying that to him Stick out tongue ).

We only tried for 3 months to get pg, so I feel very lucky in that area and the fact that I haven't had any m/s yet!

Based off my LMP, I am Due 12/12, but we had an u/s on Monday, and our baby is measuring about 2 1/2 weeks behind that date. But I'm very regular and track my cycles, so I know that's impossible. So it looks like either our baby isn't doing well and I may m/c, or our LO is just growing a little slower and is going to be petite That's the option we are hoping for.

So, based of the u/s I'm due 12/28, but I have another next Wednesday so we will learn more than.

So yeah, if you are interested I am! Man, I feel like I'm on a dating show or something

awww, I'm sorry you had to move. I love it here, I don't think I ever want to leave (much to the chagrin of my mother). The good news is, AZ isn't going anywhere, so maybe you can move back! Congratulations on baby, and thanks for saying hi

Haha! My DH is totally making fun of all of us on this board and just pulled out that quote! Is gchat through gmail? I have a gmail account so I can always do that. I don't really do any instant messaging but I def can.

Yeah, I lurked a lot on here before I started posting just to figure it out. For the siggy Dec mamas pics, I just right clicked on someone elses, saved to my desktop, and then went to photobucket and uploaded it and then you can edit the size. Then you just copy and paste the html code (it's under share) into your profile signature section.

To reply to someone's reply on a post, select "quote" on the bottom of the post and it will do like what I did on this post.

Some of the mamas on this board are picky about certain things (like quoting), and not using words like preggo, preggers, etc., and bad grammar/punctuation. I don't really care though The 1st Tri board is actually reeeeaaalllyyy picky about what you post so I'm careful on that board so I don't get flamed, but the women on this Dec board are super nice and helpful--I really enjoy my time on here and am on about 3-4 times per day Embarrassed
