BFP!!

in 1st Trimester

So I had a BFP today (15dpo)!! I am going in on Friday for an appt with my OB to confirm pregnancy. This might be a very simple question, but I don't know the answer -- So "how long will it take to get the blood test back, is it like an immediate thing or does it take a couple days?" Also, is it too soon to be doing the blood test 17dpo?

    No it isn't too early

    The time depends on your Dr. office. I went in for bloodwork around 8am and got a call around 1-2 with the results. I have heard others say they have to wait until the next day.

    In my bag: Nikon D90; 35mm 1.8, 90mm 2.8 macro (my fave), Lensbaby Composer with macro extensions. BFP after 13 cycles and one ectopic. Lost left tube 5/19/10.

    Congratulations!  Like pp, I go for b/w early in the morning and then find out the result that afternoon.  Good luck!

    Congratulations!

    I wish I was one of the girls that gets her results same day, but I have to wait until the next afternoon. 

     And no, it is definitely not too early.  You can detect HCG in blood long before you'll get a line on a stick!
