I have been aggonizing over this for months. I just couldn't decide.
First it was the Kolcraft Contours 3-Wheel Option and the Graco Metrolite. I wasn't thrilled with the look of the Metrolite, but love the weight of if. And the Kolcraft didn't get great reviews and I wasn't sure if it would fit in my trunk, but I loved the look the the rear facing option.
Then I discovered the Bumbleride Indie, but was choking on the price.
Last weekend I was at BBB with my friend and came across the Baby Jogger City Mini. Price is a little high, but not nearly as bad as the Bumbleride, easy to fold and folds up small, light weight, will easily fit in my trunk and I love the look of it.
I feel like such a weight has been lifted to finally have the decision made.
Re: Finally made the stroller decision
I've got my eye on the green and black one. DH likes the orange and gray one.
The Bumbleride Indie was in the running, but the main thing that made me decide against it was the fold. When you fold it, it ends up lying on the ground and where I live we actually get snow/slush/slop in the winter time and that's NOT something I want to be lying an expensive stroller in! Yuck.
The City Select and City Elite are great too, but I just knew that despite all of their great extra features the added WEIGHT would result in me grabbing for a cheapy umbrella stroller everytime I have to make a quick trip with the baby... which kind of defeats the purpose of having a sweet stroller like the Select or Elite. Either one might be our second stroller if I find I need something either all-terrain or that can covert to a double.
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.
