I had a bad crown and it caused the tooth to fracture and I lost it completely so it had to be pulled. Usually they put you under for that, but bc of the baby I did it with just Novocaine. I'm surprisingly ok for now. Let's see what happens with the pain later!
Anyone know if Tylenol with codeine is ok to take?

The oral surgeon I worked for never Rx'd Tylenol #3 or Vicodin for our preg patients.
He always leaned on the conservative side and just recommended OTC Tylenol and warm salt water rinses 24hrs post-op.

i had a tooth pulled a week ago today. over the weekend the pain increased and i ended up having dry socket which was pretty painful. i HAD to take tylenol every 4-5 hours to function. i had to wait through the weekend (while working my full bartending shifts) and it was not fun. went back on monday and he packed it with iodine and oil of clove which made me feel instantly better. if you experience any pain i would call right away. this is the worst case, not to be a debbie downer but that's my story. good luck. i stuck to extra strength tylenol, but if you heal right you should be fine after a day or two.

i have never posted or replied on here before but felt inclined to do so after reading you post!
