Strollers with bassinet feature.

For those who have a Uppa Baby, Bugaboo or any other stroller with a bassinet feature how long befor you stopped using it and put them in the regular stroller? Our baby just made three months and I feel he is still comfortable in the bassinet but his father feels it's time to switch him over. When did you make the switch?

We have an Uppa Baby and I think we switched around 3 months. We didn't use the bassinet much - only for walks around the neighborhood which didn't happen often b/c of weather! We used his car seat more often. DS loves being in the actual seat b/c he can look around at everything!

my car seat locks right into the stroller to make sort of a bassinette.. and I still use it. DS is comfortable in it and I like that when I close both the sun shades he's covered completely. I'll probably use it until I stop using the car seat entirely (which is good until 22lbs)

We have the Uppa. We used both seat choices off and on until the weather got warm enough for DS to be comfortable exposed in the upright seat. I think he was probably about 3 months or so at that point. It reclines quite a bit, so it's not like he has to sit up much.

We have the Uppa and still use the bassinet some (DD is 6 months this week). If it's her nap time or she seems really sleepy I'll use the bassinet attachment, that way she can sleep more comfortably. I didn't start using the seat attachment until about a month ago. We never used the car seat attachment much as DD hates her car seat.

We also have the Uppababy (LOVE that stroller!) and have used the toddler seat since about 10 weeks, I think. I bought something to hold his head steady for when he falls asleep.

I have a bugaboo.... we're still happily using the bassinet part - we occasionally just snap the carseat in.

I have a Bugaboo- I think I have used the bassinet like 3 times- I always use the car seat adapter. Used it a few times with walks, but around 3 months I started putting her in the seat fully reclined- she was so much happier that way. I say if they are happy in the bassinet leave them there until he doesnt like it, I doubt at 3 months you have an issue with the weight limit.
