One of my mothers friends really irritates me and I don't get along with her at all. Lately when talking to my mom about getting ready for LO this lady pipes right in about her opinion and gives me advice....only she has never been married and has no children! She doesn't even work with children or anything. I just think it's annoying that women think they are entitled to give advice when someone is pregnant just because they are women too. Anyone else have an experience like this?

    I think EVERYone else has experiences like this!!  People love to give unwarrented advice for some reason.

    That is very annoying. Lucky for me I'm the first of my friends to have a baby, so they have no advice to offer, except for one friend who is in nursing school and just finished her rounds at peds. I quickly put a stop to it when I asked her the last time she was pregnant. Hasn't tried to give any "advice" since.
