I am just over 31 weeks and have been getting headaches like you can't imagine. I never really had headaches/migraines before but these are kicking my butt. I finally slept last night with only one pee break! (Miracle in itself.) But I went to bed with a massive headache and up with the same thing. I have taken Tylenol, but that doesn't even seem to take the edge off of this. Any other suggestions?
I have tried some relaxation things - bath before bed, reading, etc. Those dont help. I just want my dark bed room with all my pillows and complete silence. So that I can just "deal" with them.
TIA
Re: Headaches
Have you checked your blood pressure? You might want to make sure it is not high.
I was getting headaches when my BP went up, but if I laid on my side it helped my BP and headaches.
If you haven't discussed these headaches with your OB, then please do so NOW! Although headaches can be normal in a pregnancy, they can also be signs of very serious problems and should not be overlooked.
Promise to talk to the OB. I just started getting these headaches this week. So I am not sure what is going on. Will call if this headache last any longer...
THANK YOU!!
Definitely check your BP. When I got to L&D with leaking fluid, they found my BP was high and kept asking if I had a headache (which I didn't).
I'd also try to have a little caffeine and see how it helps. Of course, I think my headaches were from caffeine withdrawal
