NBR, help with 40th birthday party venues/ideas?

Hi guys, visiting from the Chicago board. My brother lives in Bettendorf and we're trying to think of some ideas to celebrate his 40th bday end of May. He's very quiet (not a party animal), and this would be mostly extended family only, aunts, etc. I was thinking olive garden (boring, i know), but can you think of any other cool venues/ideas that would be good for a low key party in that area?

    If he likes wine then you could hold it at a winery around here. Also, something like a nice quiet pizza place would be nice. There is a great pizza place in Milan, Il which is not to far to drive from Bettendorf. If I think of anything else I will post it here.

    I guess it depends what he's in to. Off the top of my head you could go to a river bandits (baseball) game, or comedy sports (in the district of rock island) is good too
