Fetal Hiccups??

So yesterday after work, I felt this repetive light "kicking" sensation down low. I thought, hmm, Lucian is active, but then it sort of didn't stop for about 30-40 seconds, and I thought something might have been wrong so I readusted myself until it stopped.

The light kicking was in the same spot and was sort of repetitive...is this what hiccups feel like? How long does it typically last? TIA

    sounds like hiccups to me.  They last around 5 - 10 minutes a day for my baby.

    Yup, that was hiccups.  Sometimes my LO gets hiccups that last several minutes.  In fact, my LO has them now!

    Sounds like hiccups.  As the baby gets bigger, they will get stronger, but to me they feel like small 'kicks' that occur in regular intervals.  Now my whole belly moves when LO hiccups!

    hey lovie! Awh! he has the hiccups!!!

    Bug's last anywhere from a mnute or two, to an hour! It really depends on what I've eaten that day

    Sounds like it to me! Mine just got done with them---sometimes when he gets them, he will have several occurances (sp?) throughout the day.

    Seems like what you have experienced were hiccups.  My little one has hiccups AT LEAST 3 times a day for 3-5 minutes each.  Poor fella.

    Our little one gets hiccups at least 5 times a day, sometimes last only a few minutes, other times lasting up to an hour. I have cronic hiccups myself, so hopefully that won't pass on to little one, because it can sometimes be a huge pain in the butt!

    Oh my Gosh- I love you ladies so much - I totally freaked I thought Lucian needed help and was kicking mommy repeatedly to signal me! :) I just had never expereienced such repetetive and frequent movement for such a period of time.

    I"m SO relieved. Love you all!
